About Us
Over 30 years of experience in the global dairy industry
Dansko Foods are an Irish, family-owned dairy company who specialise in both traded and value-add dairy products. We operate from our Cork City office and our BRC grade AA value-add facility located in the heart of the Golden Vale region of Ireland.
Dansko Foods Ltd. was founded in 1986 by Kieran O’Neill with his wife Anne in Charleville, County Cork, Ireland. The name of DANSKO is an amalgamation of all of their family members’ initials (David, Anne, Suzanne, Kieran and O’Neill).
The business started primarily as a dairy trading business, buying product from the Irish co-ops and selling to a customer base initially in the UK and continental Europe. We now have supply contracts with all the major dairy manufacturers in Ireland, UK, Europe and New Zealand.
We are independent, yet connected, offering the finest quality Irish Butter, Cheese and Dairy Cream products at a global level. We source, produce and supply the finest grass-fed, pasture-based, hormone-free dairy products, tailor-made to suit your specific requirements.
